For records that are not visible online, the sheriff's GovQA FAQ says arrest records are maintained by detainee name and biographical details such as date of birth, Social Security number, or booking number. A request based only on an unrelated report number may be harder for the sheriff's office to search.
Request DeKalb County Jail Records

DeKalb County Inmate Visits
DeKalb County Jail visitation is handled through ViaPath, and the sheriff's Inmate Visitation page is the rule source. Visitors must be on the inmate's approved visitation list. Remote visits are available from an internet-enabled device and must be scheduled online at least 24 hours ahead. The sheriff site states that phone scheduling is not available. It also states that friends and family do not currently have on-site video visits.

Mail and DeKalb County Commissary
